HP introduces iPAQ 600 and 900 series Windows Mobile 6 phones
In its fray of iPAQ introductions today come two new phones from HP -- the first since the rather bland 510 -- potentialy throwing the once-dominant Windows Mobile force back into the hunt. First up, the 600 series Business Navigator comes equipped with integrated GPS, a generous 2.8-inch touchscreen, 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM, 3 megapixel autofocus cam, WiFi, and Windows Mobile 6 Professional, all sitting atop a Marvell PXA270 putting along at 520MHz. The 600 rocks a numeric keypad; a dealbreaker for some, yes, but the nifty touch-sensitive scroll wheel integrated into the keys may be enough to sway a few back. The 900 series, meanwhile, swaps out the numeric pad for a standard QWERTY outfit and steps down to a 2.46-inch display, but the specs remain otherwise similar to its stablemate. Look for both to ship before the year's out.

is there a way to keep your comments "synced" with those posts you share with engadget.com?
sometime i miss important comments because i read the post in one or the other.

Used HP products since the 1900 series era, just after I switched OS from my Handspring Visor Edge. Great products. I am was "this close" to switch to HTC, but these babies are making me think about it. I'll wait for reviews and more jpg's.

DrNeuralgia,
Thats always been a wish of mine as well. When you click on the same story, it should just send you to the same place no matter if you are viewing the story from engadget or engadgetmobile...
C'mon guys, lets get this right!!!

I'll be making the switch from HTC (for the 614c); I'm sold.
Also I believe these will both be QUAD-band.
Numeric keypad clinches the deal for me (I don't dial numbers alphabetically)
Just as soon as these come out in europe...

@dr: XMAS?

What do you mean "albeit assisted" GPS? This has a fully functional GPS chip, and (much like the BlackBerry 8800) I doubt this will be A-GPS. A Moto V3m on Sprint is a good example of a phone using A-GPS. Do some homework on the technology.

How do you not mention the best parts?
"Both share a number of features, including quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band WCDMA/HSDPA 7.2Mbps supporting US 3G networks, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and A-GPS. They also each have 3 Megapixel autofocus cameras and microSD slots for expanding storage."
910 = touch screen

Actually, after checking the data sheets, they both have the exact same specs.
both have touchscreen. the 320x240 display means i'll keep waiting for the eten x800.
