The
iTunes WiFi Music Store is coming for iPhone too friends, as it's only fair that the iPhone gets the same treatment as its newer -- and less capable -- sibling. From the
keynote, it would seem that the iTunes update will arrive for iPhone sometime this month via a software update, though no specific date was mentioned. While we dig the idea of iTunes on the go, only having the option of using it over WiFi seems a bit weak, sure it'd be slow, but we're all pretty used to EDGE by now Steve.

What about the Apple TV? Surprised they didn't open access to the iTunes store to it as well.

I'd bet AT&T wouldn't let them do an over-the-air music store on their network; that'd compete with whatever AT&T has for handset music delivery.

there were probably bandwidth concerns with having all those iphone users sucking down megs of songs through edge, which is probably already taking a beating from the iphones

Funny thing is that T-Mobile will offer WiFi iTunes access with no HotSpot login at all the Starbucks they inhabit. I guess it'll work with th iPhone Touch and your laptop, too.
