Is it just me, or is that keyboard layout nearly *identical* to the Blackberry Pearl's layout?

I guess it just goes to show that imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery.

Unless it's copyrighted, of course.

Its the same keypad, rubbery and all. They bought the rights from RIM.

This is actually Samsung's second phone to feature the SureType style of keypad. The first one was the Blast's predecessor, the T719 that was released over a year ago.
