Is this the LG VX10000 for Verizon?
Kinda seems like this could be a predictable 'shop of a VX9900 showing evolutionary changes to the keyboard and screen -- but be that as it may, this picture is getting shown around on HowardForums as depicting the interior of the VX10000 recently outed by the FCC. The screen looks lovely and we think they keyboard looks a little nicer, but other than that, there's not much that can be said until we have an exterior shot (at the very least). We'd also heard rumors that the VX10000 would be the long-rumored CDMA Prada, so clearly that ain't the case if this picture turns out to be legit.

9800, 9900, 10000 ... makes sense.
Pamela @ Aug 30th 2007 7:50PM
Makes sense to me too. Now if this thing has a larger front screen and they make some colors better than what they are putting out now this one will be mine!
longhairbilly @ Aug 30th 2007 8:21PM
I agree. I love my enV but that outside screen is WAY to small. From this pic, the inside screen seems to have grown to me.
me @ Aug 30th 2007 8:24PM
To be honest, that one looks like crap. I hope that picture is just squished a bit. Either way, I'll take the enV, unless this has some kind of improvements to the outside.
elgee02 @ Aug 30th 2007 8:56PM
I don't get why people rag on the outside screen being to small. It's plenty big enough to browse your contacts and make a call, or fire off a quick t9 text when you're driving and can only commit one had to the phone. Want a bigger screen? Flip open the damn phone, Jesus H Christ.
Thetruth @ Aug 30th 2007 9:11PM
Whats your technique for texting while driving? I have trouble b/c I have to use my beer drinking hand to text, so I end up using my left foot to steer, my left hand to text and of coarse my right hand is my beer hand.
elgee02 @ Aug 30th 2007 9:16PM
Just wear one of those red plastic beer dispensing helmets :-P
But regardless of phone I hardly text while driving anymore cause I just bought a new car and this one has a stick shift, so unless I am cruising on the freeway I gotta commit my right hand to shifting.
Blunt @ Aug 30th 2007 9:30PM
I thought about it, but the problem is the helmets don't have enough capacity to get me drunk and the thought of going to work sober in the morning is absolutely horrifying.

The VX10000 naming puts this device in an interesting place. It creeping into the 5-digit area, can signify it being their flagship phone and the start of a new line. Or, like this suggests, a continuation of the ever-so-popular "v" line. I know I haven't seen the outside nor the spec, but I expected this to be "wow." It might be, though, CDMA LG's normally don't fail in that department....GSM is a different story...
Anyway, we'll just have to wait and see.

whats up with everyone posting the photoshopped picture, the one found on Howardforums was not as long and seemed a little squished so some member photoshopped it and changed the dimension... this is the photoshopped one

If this is for Verizon, my first impression: It's ugly & leaves a lot to be desired.
Robbie @ Aug 31st 2007 6:43PM
*cough*nokia9200sevenyearsago*cough* funny how everyone had something to say about the nokia touchscreen "looking like an iphone" but no one has anything to say about this phone looking like nokias 9xxx line that has been out for like ten years already. way to catch up cdma peeps!
JunkNugget @ Sep 1st 2007 12:12AM
It's also funny how LG made the first flip handset with an external display, and now EVERYONE does it! It's also amazing that the Ford Model T had 4 wheels, and now the BMW M5 also does! Amazing! Ooooh, and it's also amazing how Walmart sells Pop Corn, and so does Target! OMG!!!! Will this ever end? Holy cow, didn't Nokia also make non-flip phones? Because I swear that Motorola AND Samsung also make non-flip phones! Ugh . . . it never ends!
Robbie @ Sep 1st 2007 1:06AM
omg i saw one of those bmw m5's with 4 wheels! i couldnt believe it! total patent lawsuit waiting to happen! just like broadcomm and qualcomm all over again! omg you really wont believe this one... petsmart had fish for sale. then i went to petco, and they were selling fish too! this is so out of hand!
Paul @ Aug 31st 2007 9:01PM
For those of you that don't know, the front is all touchscreen similar to the LG Prada. Speaking of Prada and Verizon..stay tuned.
Robbie @ Sep 1st 2007 1:12AM
ya, stay tuned, thats always the case with verizon lately. lol. too bad for them Voce has already been offering it for a while now
JAE @ Sep 6th 2007 4:53PM
This phone looks like it might be my potential phone. Looks neat, but I hope the outside screen touch sensitivity isn't like the chocolate phone. Horrible if it is. The EnV is a great phone, i couldn't imagine using any other phone verizon has to offer.
Ann Nonimus @ Sep 22nd 2007 12:51AM
I just played with this thing today. Don't ask me how, I won't tell. The exterior screen is just as big. Outside screen is touch sensitive and has prada-like menus. Mobile TV and full qwerty keyboard. 'nuff said

More pics of the vx10000 have been leaked, this time it's the test units:
