The device is not being offered by T-Mobile. It is being sold by a third party retailer. T-Mobile has nothing to do with this. By this leap of imagination, ALL GSM phones are sold by T-Mobile, you just have to find a third party dealer who is willing to give you a discount when T-Mobile pays them a kick back.
