LG's CU515 for AT&T rocks the FCC

In our humblest of opinions, the LG CU400 looked out of date the very day it was released, so we're delighted to hear that its replacement is coming along nicely. The CU515, destined for AT&T's 3G network, has apparently passed FCC muster on its way to a supposed September release. We don't know much about the thing other than that it'll rock 3G data and sport a black outer shell, much like its predecessor. Kill the aerial while you're at it, eh, LG?

I have the LG CU500 and absolutely love it. I can't wait or even imagine how well an upgraded version of it will be. It's a very well rounded phone and internet tool. As well as it's many other features.

I have one too, but there are a few changes I would make. First off, is battery life is horrid, esp. when streaming videos. 2nd is the unsigned java apps, such as Opera Mini, require you to "cancel or allow", ala windows vista, at every page. Another issue I have is my 1gb kingston microSD card does not work, as it is slightly too thin, and LG "reccomends" Sandisk, which are more expensive. Of course, that is just my short list, there are many many more issues.

oh yeah, this is an upgrade to the CU400, the little brother to the CU500. The CU500v or the CU575 are the upgrades to the CU500.
