New midrange flip in the cards for Sony Ericsson?
If this spy shot is legit -- which it certainly appears to be -- Sony Ericsson is prepping a new Walkman-branded flip. Details are slim, but we can make out what appear to be braille-esque external music controls, a healthy external speaker, and a 1.3 megapixel cam all packaged in yet another fresh design direction for the joint venture in recent memory. We'll keep y'all updated as we hear more.

God, Sony needs to drop this walkman crap already, it's so 1998.

Oh. Yeah. It's soo 1998. The Sony Ericsson w960 is, like, so past its prime.

Dude, any cell phone enthusiast with his/her salt knows how much the Sony Walkman cell phone line pwns. In any level--whether it be high-end or midrange-- Sony Ericsson drops a Walkman phone, the device is always amongst the best....*always*.

No matter how "cool" Sony Ericsson's line of walkman phones may be, I'm honestly not feelin' that braille-looking design. It makes the phone look older than it really is. That's just my opinion . . . and I usually like some of the phones that Sony Ericsson comes out with too. But hey, whatever floats your boat. = )
