Nokia N75, Motorola KRZR see price cuts at AT&T
If a $200 Nokia N75 doesn't get you worked into a lather, perhaps a $100 N75 will. That's what AT&T seems to be hoping anyway, having just reduced the price of its shining beacon of 3G S60 glory down to a single hundie. Also benefitting from the price cuts is the Motorola KRZR K1, falling to the same $100. Hmm, 2.5G dumbphone or 3G smartphone? We know which one we'd choose.

I mean the N75. It's usually about -9 dollars with 2 year contract

Why, oh why did Nokia leave HSDPA out of this phone?

Good heavens, I can only imagine how crap the battery life would be with HSDPA instead of UTMS.
I had the N75 for a week, and had to take it back. It's really sweet that it's an S60 phone with 3G, even though it lacks 3.5G, but the camera kinda sucked and the battery life was egregiously horrible. I got maybe an hour or two of talk time, depending on how much I used Opera Mini or the built-in browser.
For $100 maybe it'd be worth it -- you can use the $100 saved on a dock to charge a spare battery to take with you...

I just debranded my cingular N75. Excellent phone when all the cingular crap is taken out. Soon as it's debranded A2DP works and the 600k ringtone limit is removed. Now all I need is the Symbian Slingplayer for the US and I'm set.
