Nokia N81 in the wild, sort of
Going all the way back to the N95, it seems like Nokia started having a really hard time keeping a lid on hot upcoming product releases -- not to say we're complaining or anything -- and the upcoming N81 slider with a penchant for music is no exception. Following some serious scoopage a few months back, we're now seeing this shot of a believable-looking N81 dummy, which we're guessing is in the process of getting shipped out to retailers preparing to sell the real thing. With a rumored 8GB of onboard storage, HSDPA, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, we imagine said retailers should be doing a pretty brisk business, too.

Ciao
looks really cool and I am curious about if the phone has some type of integration with the upcoming Nokia music service.

I would never get this phone for one reason alone...
two words:
Finger and Prints.
That and no video recording were the reason for doing away with my pearl... Sweet specs though on the N81 though...

Why is it so shiny and cheap looking?

It is a dummy phone - It is cheap and its probably plastic. :-)

it looks to be made out of the same plastic as the new nokia 6085...very cheap feeling

N81 I can take or leave. The N82, however, I'm interested in. Maybe since they were both spotted @ the same time they'll both get released @ the same time.
Hopefully the new 5mp camera has less shutter lag than the N95 (I'd settle for less than 25 seconds).

But the N81 doesn't have the N80's display.
