LG's rumored roadmap for AT&T
We're hearing about a bevy of new handsets from LG that should -- by should, we mean it is rumored -- be landing at a store near you between now and the end of year. First up, LG's CU575 "Trax" -- that we've been hearing about for a while now -- may have finally found a solid date with AT&T, look for it to arrive around about August 17th. The LG CU400 is getting refreshed with the LG CU515, an all-black 3G handset that looks like a cross between the CU400 and CU500, expected September. Also rolling out is the CU720 or Shine a 3G slider with a 2 megapixel camera in September -- we've been waiting on this for some time, thanks AT&T. Of course, we've saved the sassiest tidbit for last, the MediaFLO-enabled LG CU920 or Prada will also debut this year from AT&T, but this guy will show in early December. We look forward to the angry head to head competition from the touch screen (almost) twins. Of course, don't shake angry fists at us if some of this doesn't come true, rumors have a way of changing with time.[Thanks, Superman]

i'm hoping LG CU920 shows up here. but i REFUSE to buy it if it has the Prada name attached to it. utter crap...

I know, Jason! Let's say the phone would sell for a subsized price of $100, per se, the damn Prada fitting would bump it up to $199. The phone maybe (or may not) be "teh hottness," but to pay more for a name and NOT for features is inexcusable to me. If this is the case, like jeans, I'd opt not to pick of the Prada and go to Target, instead.

the cu515 sounds interesting because i really liked the cu500.
the LG cu575 Trax is already on ebay. the phone and accessories can already be found there.

I hope I am not starting a VZW/AT&T spat now, but when I read that AT&T would being launching this LG Prada-esque phone, I immediately thought of the "warnings" blatant anti-iPhoners (i.e.: overly passionate VZW employees) who've said VZW is "soon" to launch an iPhone killer (btw, none have named what it is). Many have presumed that the LG Prada was this killer. So, what weapons are you sportin' now big Red?

And yes, VZW IS getting a version of the "Prada" phone, so there's your answer dude ;-)

Elgee02, first, I'd like to say that I like your phonetic spelling of LG, it's nice.
I agree, my comment about VZW employees does *ignorantly* make it seem that they are the only "haters" of the iPhone. However, more importantly, *your response* qualifies part of my ignorant assertion in saying, "...like only VZW employees hate the iPhone." So, yes, you are right, by me: there are many haters of the iPhone, but, by you, many are VZW employees.
