What happened is that Motorola became far too dependent on the RAZR and it's offspring. They put all of their eggs in one basket, to borrow a cliche. In a market this saturated, and this technologically fluid, manufacturers have to have a diversity of products. Motorola didn't do that and now their reaping what they've sown.
