Nokia's 8GB N95 confirmed for Q4 release?

Not a whole lot of new information here, but we're starting hear that the 8GB N95 that was mentioned just days ago as a potential device will in fact become a reality. Unfortunately, we're still forced to treat this "confirmation" as a rumor until Nokia fesses up to the pictured device, but if whispers prove true, it should hit outlets "shortly after Christmas," will be black in color, tout 8GB of internal capacity, and sport a slightly larger screen for good measure. Hold tight -- we're sure a confirmation (or vehement denial) will be just around the bend.

Throw in some US 3G frequencies, and I'll happily

would also be pretty compelling.

Ah! now we're talking Nok. But isn't this what the original n95 should have been? Add some more RAM, 3G, SDHC and better battery and I will look forward to this device.

I meant US 3G. The Euro Frequencies are useless to me. Thanks for the heads up on the SDHC support. I suspected it but couldn't find any mention of it anywhere until now.

As a technowhore, I am a big proponent of I-want-it-even-if-I-don't-need-it, but why would you need SDHC on a cell phone with 8GB of internal memory? I know more it better, but the battery will die before you get thew with the 8GB included, nonetheless the additional memory via SDHC.

The biggest thing holding me back from getting the N95 right now is the battery. What's the point of 8gb of space if the battery won't last long enough to play all that music or video. I could care less about more memory, I would be happy with a 2gb SD card. But having a phone that won't last a full day of playing with it is a no go.

I saw that picture and highly doubt thats what the phone will look like... you cant see the numbers or icons on the black buttons... if you look at the other phones that nokia turned black they put white numbers on it... plus it looks like it was taken at a nokia store i think its a photoshop

I am *so* hoping that AT&T waters it down a bit (to lower costs) and adds some US HSPDA and picks this baby up.
