Firmware v12.0.013 available for Nokia's N95
While the rest of us sit and wait on a potential 8GB iteration, current N95 owners now have a bit more utility to look forward to care of a new firmware update. Version 12.0.013, which looks to only be available on phones with Euro product codes (0534841 and 0534844) at the moment, provides a few subtle changes that essentially get lost in the addition of Assisted GPS and the amount of RAM available. Interestingly, the full rundown of changes seems to be still rolling out, so be sure and visit the read link for the growing list and do tell if you notice alterations on your own.

Yippie... I'm the lucky one..I had to change the product code because I wanted Polish dictionary on my phone so two days ago I hooked up my N95 and voila... I got me 12.0.13.. the bitch is that after the update was finished the programs that were on the memory card got corrupted and when I tried to re install them I started getting "expired certificate" message. So I guess I will just re install the firmware and format the card to make it a clean install. The maps application doesn't seem too different although I can't say much as I am currently in Poland visiting and use prepaid sim card which was sucked dry after I tried to use AGPS (it uses GPRS connection which is an expensive commodity here)...thank GOD for unlimited GPRS bucket on T-MOB US for $6

P.S. Head over to my blog www.symbiosis60.com to see the nice screen captures of GPS use while on the flight from Chicago to Warsaw.

I'd rather have an n95 that supported SDHC, but 8gb is good too.

It does support SDHC. Plenty of people are already using 4gb SDHC cards.
E90 and N76 can also use those cards.

@Al
I didn't know this when I posted. Thank you for cluing me in though. I saw the 8gb N95 article afterwards, and someone responded there that the N95 supports SDHC.
