Motorola RAZR 2 V9 hits FCC in AT&T livery
Yep, here's that "Wildcat" we've been hearing about. With the V3, V3i, V3r, and V3xx in its rear view mirror, the synergy between the 3G RAZR 2 and AT&T's lineup seems pretty obvious, so we're not at all surprised to see this one passing through the FCC's tender embrace. Strangely, the pictures clearly depict Cingular branding -- complete with dedicated Jack and Cingular Video buttons -- but the draft manual here is chock full of AT&T and Cellular Video references, so we're not too concerned that it's been axed or anything rash like that. We're still expecting a summer release for this one, though for all we know, that could mean September; we'll keep ya in the loop.

If this is true, then I still won't join the darkside. There's more to using a cell phone than the phone you use.

i bet this phone is going to cost a lot like maybe $300. the first RAZR was $500, but since then all these new phones already has mostly everything that the RAZR 2 has. I'm waiting for it to come out with Verizon Wireless because their network and interface is so much better i think than ATT. i still see that the speaker is still on the back-bottom of the phone. i don't like that. they better improve the battery life drastically because i always had to keep my RAZR charged, so like in 5 hours it dies.

lol verizon's interface sucks.
your battery sucked because if you left it plugged in for 5 hours then it ruins it.
but i guess its your opinion

The reason your razr dies in 5 hrs is because of the Verizon network. CDMA phones do not hold a charge nearly as well as GMS phones, and that is a fact. My razr on att last for 3-4 days using for business all day.

What model do you have? I have V3 on ATT service and the battery goes dead every day. I get maybe 3 hours of standby and talking abd it has to be charged.
