I agree that everyone should stop comparing any piece of technology in existence to the iPhone. My carrier is Verizon, and i have bought Apple products since before it was cool. Verizon already offers phones and pdas that have all of the features that the iphone does. The iphone doesn't offer navigation options (mapquest is not VZ Navigator), you can't send pictures and the network does suck. Any PDA Verizon offers is half the price and double the benefits. I can see lots of storage on the iphone is a benefit, sure, but overall, Verizon doesn't need to come out with an iphone killer, it's already got products that are feature rich and don't have touch screens that are going to break the first time you drop them.

mrwill

Comments on Verizon, LG intro new Chocolate

Whats so good with the iPhone, I don't know. I just know I would love to have touch screen without the need to use a stylus. A Mac or Linux style user interface (never cared for Windows). A phone that will sync well with my MacBook, iCal, iTunes music and movies, and has WiFi. So it seems that iPhone is great for me, I have yet to see any other phones do all that.
