Nokia in the past has taken many more design chances than any other mobile phone company and well, they haven't done so great. The 7380 that looked like a voice recorder, had no numbered buttons, only a scroll wheel, comes to mind then again though someone has to make leaps like that just to see whats out there. Good design though takes everything into context, ease of use, aesthetics and market placement, its the ease of use where nokia's out of the box designs falter, and this one looks like dialing issues may be its downside.
