When the higher data price rumors were floating around, I had been getting ready to say "forget it, do I really need data service that bad?" but this seems affordable.  I'm not lining up on Friday -- I'm going to need to wait until the reviews come in -- but Apple & AT&T have found a price point that'll get me on a data plan. The price plans are perfect, unlimited data, comes with texts, a bunch of night and weekend minutes, and roll over.  This costs the same as my verizon plan WITHOUT the unlimited data. With my Sprint Sero plan for $30 a month I get 500 minutes, unlimited Evdo data, unlimited text messages, Unlimited N&W starting at 7 and of course m2m and the rest of that jazz minus rollover. Its less than I expected. So for me getting the iPhone for $20/month was a no brainer but to pay that PLUS lose the discount (around $30-35) for me is a non starter. Very weird that this is being done. I am OK with no discounts for the device, but here I am a $200 month ATT customer and they have really, really pissed me off. So no iPhone for me till policy changes....
