Sidekick Slide shipping late Q3?

Hiptop3 may have scored a coup if this document sent in by a reader turns out to be real. If you look closely, you'll see that the leaked doc is about the Sidekick Slide, AKA Motorola Q700, AKA the Sidekick 4. The photo apparently snapped yesterday by a T-Mobile Sidekick 3 (if you believe the EXIF data), shows a product finalization of August 27, 2007 with a "SK SLD" release sometime in "Late Q3." That would make the end of September the outer-most retail date. Of course, there are contradicting Q3 2008 dates above which seem to reference Sidekick L(X) and L(E) devices. In other words, we don't know. Now get your Photoshopping conspiracies ready and sound-off in the comments.

If its real, would it seem to sugest that the two seperate release dates are for two seperate phones. What an odd coincidence that BGR showed two new sdks and now there is a document with two new release dates.

Or maybe that helps the beliveability.

i really hope that the new sidekick is coming out soon. I was going to get the D-Wade sidekick 3 until my dad told me that i could wait for the sidekick 4 to come out which would probably launch in September.

I doubt the sk4 is gonna come out this year because the sk3 was only released early this year. like the rest of you i hope that it comes out soon but there's no use getting your hopes up.the sk3 isn't worth buying if the sk4 is coming out soon plus the sk3 isn't much of a upgrade considering todays technology. there's no wi-fi, no video camera, bad resolution and a measly camera. i mean it could have been at least 2 megapixels. i'm gonna wait for the new sk and hope it's an improvement

the sidekick 3 came out in 06...and it was juss a phone 2 compete wit the Q...they was going to wait till this year and release the 3 with everything the 3 has and more...but my guess is if they release the motorola slide version its just 2 hold ppl over from jumpin 2 At&t 4 the i-phone until the 4 comes out...so u never know what t-mobile/ danger/ Motorola/ hip top is thinking... They released the 3 with almost nothing on it but bluetooth , mp3 and faster internet...hopefully bc its Motorola u can @least make ur own ringtones and may be video...thats something the sidekick is really missing
