That doesn't look like a standard USB connection on the bottom....if not. that Really sucks.

The connector is HTC's proprietory Enhanced USB connector designed to merge audio and USB into a single port. It will, however, accept any old standard mini USB cable for charging and synching.

Oh Ok. Thanks for that clarification. Is it a separate jack? Or do you just use the same location?
Too bad Verizon hasn't released its intentions on obtaining this phone.
