does anybody know if this phone will work in Europe? I badly want one of those because my work involves working in dusty and wet environments, most of my phones have broken quite quickly.
anyway, if I somehow get ahold of an unlocked version of this phone, will it work in Europe?
Sorry, but Verizon is a CDMA provider and there is no CDMA in Europe. Verizon phone are all unlocked, but will do you absolutely no good because they are not GSM/UMTS
Siemens mobile back in the day (before BenQ bought them and subsiquently went out of buisness) used to make some rugged waterproof GSM phones that were dual band for Europe only. I always wished they'd release a tri-band or quad band version of those to use here, but they never did.
I guess the tables have turned.
I personally wish every major phone manufacturer would offer a line of tough phones for those who need them.
But don't worry, other then being fugged the G'zOne type S is not much to envy. It's a bottom feeder phone featurewize with an itty bitty crappy crappy screen
