NTT DoCoMo introduces LG's SIMPURE L2

It looks like Korea's major manufacturers are starting to get some big breaks in Japan; first it's Samsung busting out a slew for Softbank Mobile, and now LG's showing its SIMPURE L2 on NTT DoCoMo. The L2 is just the latest in the SIMPURE series, offering simplicity (by Japanese mobile standards) without sacrificing style. The L2, then, certainly fits the bill on account of LG's collaboration with industrial designer Gwenael Nicholas -- the dude that designed the Game Boy Advance. Features include 3G data (naturally), compatibility with NTT DoCoMo's WORLD WING global service for travelers, and a 1.3 megapixel cam in a 17.6mm thick body. No word on a release date, but folks will be able to check it out in early July at Tokyo's "Touch & Love DESIGN" expo.
