O2's Xda orbit and trion get Windows Mobile 6

Windows Mobile 6 fever: catch it! That's slowly but surely getting easier to do on carriers around the globe -- including, surprisingly, one of our own -- and O2's the latest to add a bit of upgrade cheer to its lineup with support for the Xda orbit and trion. Known to HTC as the Artemis and Hermes respectively, both devices are well-suited for the splendors that Windows Mobile 6 Professional has to offer; in fact, AT&T's variant, the 8525, is scheduled to get its own facelift in the next few months. In the meantime, though, might we recommend staring longingly at the official upgrades across the Atlantic?

So the Trion phone is the same to the AT&T 8525 in every way except the front-facing cam...anyone know if one could just use the O2 Trion rom update on the AT&T 8525 for the time being? At least until AT&T drops an oficial WM6 rom update of their own? That would be great!!

there's plenty of directions out there on how to put a hacked version of wm6 on a cingular 8525. i'm sure you could maybe use the O2 version just the sameas any other.

According to O2 UK, Pending accreditation, there is a ROM upgrade to WM 6 planned to be released before the end of the summer.

The Download link for the XDA trion is apparently still the WM 5 OS (according to someone who tried on XDA-developers). The website says that WM 6 will be on there shortly.

I purchased XDA trion in Germany coming up with WM5. How can I install english version of WM6.
