Motorola maxx Ve unboxed
Well, look what we have here -- It's the Motorola maxx Ve for Verizon Wireless. It's been along time since we seen the first maxx, though the first sighting was for GSM. Just dropped off today, we snapped a few pics of the unboxing ceremony for your viewing pleasure. As a refresher point on the feature set, here ya go: dual band 1X / EVDO (sorry no Rev. A here), microSD expandable memory, a vivid 2.2 inch display, stereo Bluetooth for the music junkies, and a respectable 2 megapixel shooter with autofocus. Keep a look out for the Ve review!

I have verizon, love verizon. I have the enV with the UI menus. Why are they ruining this nice looking phone with the red bars? Motorola should have put a standard headphone jack like the RIZR has but I would take the lg vx9700 over this phone

Upgraded from my V710 to this new Maxx and I love it. Only had it about 3 days now but it's a keeper. Music was easy to drag & drop over from my Mac and sounds great with the HT820 bluetooth headphones using A2DP real stereo. 2mp camera works very well and has the brightest flash I've ever seen on a phone.
In a word, SEXY

Hey Barry and all!
I looked at the MAXX at a Verizon Store. I have some mixed feelings on the customization limits of this phone vs. my Moto E815 fully working UI.
Were you able to change the size of the numbers as you dial on the phone? They were extremely large on the phone I played with. Felt like I was in grade school.
Are you able to change the size of the icons on the main screen? The icons on this phone were tiny and jagged.
Now for the Apple Mac question...how did you drag and drop the music? Was this through blue tooth?
Thanks in advance,
Tony

I ordered this phone to replace aging non-bluetooth lg phone, after charging it up, I took a couple of pics of my 6 year old and they appeared very soft, no real sharpness to it, the next day I was showing some co-workers the phone and the camera simply would not focus on anything, total blur. I'm sure this was a fluke and most of the phones probably work well but I didn't feel comfortable paying this much for a phone and have technical issues with it right out of the box, took it into a verizon store and picked up the lg vx9900 for 50$ dollars less.
