I was a fan of the RAZR but this thing is just plain ugly. If you haven't seen it up close, be sure to go check it out. It's a little wider than the RAZR and a little thicker. I think they really screwed up on the design of this one.

Yeah, it's not that pretty but at least it's more powerful...

The LG VX8700 is nearly identical and is smaller and lighter. Any reason to pick this one over it?

This phone has a usable auto focus feature unlike most cell phone camera's. That plus the large external LCD are the two main pluses to this phone.

When this phone comes out to other carriers, you can flash it to their firmware and have true Bluetooth and Java on it.

I'd be curious to see how this phone sports with qipit, the premier mobile online copy service (like flickr, but for documents) : 2 Mpix and (even more important) autofocus should produce very crisp PDF copies of whiteboards, documents, classnotes, and even fine print !
I am not living in the US so won't have quickly access to this pocket copy machine : can anybody give it a try (just take a picture of a document and send it to copy@qipit.com) and let me (us all) know ?
Thanks in advance
