Could this be the Sony Ericsson P700i?
Alright, we're really shrugging our collective shoulders at this one. Apparently the render pictured here is the Sony Ericsson P700i, but we were under the impression it was the M610i (we peeped an XML doc on SE's site that seemed to imply the M610i was "real"). Sony Ericsson's "P" series handsets have always been touch screen, UIQ affairs -- think P800, P900, P910, P990 -- so this is throwing us for a bit of a loop. Whatever the case may be, the specs we're seeing include a 2.6 inch QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel shooter, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, and that rocker-style QWERTY keyboard. If there is anybody out there with more info that feels inspired to chime in, please be our guests!

If it has 850mhz band then it sounds like a winner, otherwise I could careless...

While I agree that this looks like it should be an M series, the P and M phones both have the touchscreen, UIQ setup so I'm not sure why that would be throwing you for a loop.. ? And I can see a stylus hanging out of the side so it looks like this is a touch screen as well.
What it is missing that the P series normally have, is the folding/removable keypad.. I wonder if they are going to consolidate the two lines and get rid of the flap...

Exactly, and in the same vein, what does "3G" mean? Given that most of the phones out or coming out aren't 1900, it doesn't mean much to those on this side of the Pond to just say that a phone is "3G".

Got some more live pics of the P700i / M610. I've seen both model-numbers with these pics...
