I had the SCP-6000 and the SCP-5300. The 6000 was the RAZR before there was a RAZR, it was so thin, I loved it, but the battery life was horrible. The 5300 was the 1st US cameraphone, I believe, I had it for almost 2 years, but then I needed more. I wanted bluetooth and speakerphone, and Sanyo could not deliver. It probably wasn't their fault, considering both Sprint and Verizon dragged their feet into the bluetooth ring kicking and screaming. Thats why I bought a Nokia 6230 and switched to Cingular, and I never regretted it. Loved my old Sanyo's but Sprint made me leave. I'll miss Sanyo.

Ari

Comments on Sanyo's mobile business to be for sale soon?

I used to have the scp-5300 just like you did and that was the best phone i EVER had. I had to change phones/carrier since sprint was ripping me off (every month was a different amount and i didn't go over my mins.) and because of Bluetooth, hell the 5300 has a better vga cam than the razr!

Daniel

Comments on Sanyo's mobile business to be for sale soon?

Sanyo was THE manufacturer for Sprint (at least as I remember it) in the late 90's, early 00's. The SCP 4000 was one of the best phones I've ever used (loved the green monochrome LCD). Some time in the last 5 years, they went downhill. They're latest offerings seem really cheap and plasticy but I haven't been with Sprint for a while.

frank

Comments on Sanyo's mobile business to be for sale soon?

HEY I LOVE THE SANYO DLX8500 I LIKE IT SO MUCH I VE BEEN SAVIN MI=ONEY BUT ALL I HAVE IS 6$ AND ITS 130$ I NEED HELP WANNA HELP ME SPRINT COME ON IM JUST 11 PLEASE
:(

ASHLEY
