BlackBerry network down?
We've gotten some reports in that the BlackBerry network has been completely offline in North America for the last couple of hours (since 8PM EST). Apparently email traffic and all BlackBerry Enterprise Server services have been totally wrecked; we confirmed with the BlackBerry-using among our crew. Apparently the network should be back online by or at midnight tonight -- anyone else seeing this issue? Let us know when it lights back up, would you?[Thanks, Harvey]

Firsthand, I know there have been sporadic issues in the past week with both Nextel (iden) and T-mobile NON enterprise BB service. My TMO unit had delayed incoming mail (had it this evening too) and repeating incoming messages on the Nextel, one message came in over 120 times, Nextel said in was a RIMM issue....spent 3 hours over several calls on hold, got disconnected each time...they said there were overwhelmed with calls..Issue resolved itself 2 days later....

Per tech support for my company...even once it IS up and running again due to all the people that tried to push messages there will be a massive backlog of email. There will probably be very extensive delays in email due to the backlog.
