Sidekick iD vs Sidekick 3 hands-on gallery

We're still confused as to whether it's "id" or "eye-dee", but whatever it's called our Sidekick iD showed up today. Yes, it's the underpowered, EDGE-free version of the Sidekick 3 (or the next step up from the Sidekick 2, depending on whether you're a glass-half-full or empty kind of person), and sure, it looks mighty funny when you peel off its skin and replace the bumpers with different colors. But is it an adequate substitute for the full-fledged 3? Perhaps the following pictorial will help you decide one way or another -- but at very least the software experience is basically preserved (sans camera, media, and Bluetooth apps). You know I dont see what the big deal is about sidekicks, they absolutely suck!!! Big time, yeah the phone LOOKS cool, but all the features are lacking, the MP3 player looks like it was made in paint, the camera's are always never up to par, and most importantly the screen, the screen is one if not the major draw to the phone, its screen is gross, 240x160, 65k colors, doesnt seem like it, every sidekick screen it washed out and pixelated. Comeon I would have gotten an SK3 if it at least had a QVGA screen, cause the OS is cool, but the screen just doesnt add up. Web browsing is all it has but im perfectly fine using motos web browser.....now I remeber hereing a rumor that moto was gettin in on the new sidekick maybe then theyll comeout with a gorgeous screen with 262k colors or even 16.7million, or even the ROKR E2's screen which is hands down the best in moto displays till this date. Dont mean to hate but I just dont see what the hipe is about.
