Nokia adding gray to N95 color palette?
If neither "plum" nor "sand" were to your liking, it seems the Nokia N95 palette is already expanding just weeks into its official release. Nokia doesn't seem to be admitting it yet, but a HowardForums member recently took delivery of an N95 decked out in dark gray (the bottom device, compared to a plum example on the top). We can only hope Espoo's going to bless this one as being available to the public at large, since it'd clearly make for a more business-savvy (never mind neutral) choice than either beige or purple -- and remember, Nokia, an expanded selection was promised at some point!

What I've been able to discover through various forums is that the graphite is for the O2 carrier only.

t mobile has these on hold until their factory gets the hold of these for the myfaves programming..t mobile has the plum version coming out in july for all those nice nokia lovers
TmOcRaZy @ Apr 6th 2007 7:11PM
Ivan, if your lying I will hunt you down and take your money and all cellphones you have!! Are you being serious? So your saying that T-Mobile USA will be receiving and begin to sell these phones sometime between the 3rd and 4th Quarter of this year, 2007, with the MyFaves Software on them????
Dale @ Apr 6th 2007 7:21PM
I doubt that this phone will make it to any US carrier because the phone is very high end. 5 mp? If this phone does make it state side, I would expect it to be around 650 USD
TmOcRaZy @ Apr 6th 2007 7:47PM
I actually wouldnt mind paying that price, but the fact alone that T-Mobile would be selling this phone is a true shocker.

Yeah, Ivan is lying.
That picture he linked to shows a 2 MP camera on the front. The front cam is only VGA. They're not gonna take out the EDGE capabilities either. The hardware is finished and Nokia or T-Mobile are not gonna make such hardware changes.
Come on Ivan, if you want to lie, make it believable.

You suck at photoshopping Ivan...
All your pictures are so obvious that they are fake
darla @ Apr 7th 2007 1:40PM
@Ivan,
First of all your photoshopping skills suck. Secondly, I DID NOT GET A PINK N95 SHIPPED FROM T-MOBILE UK! Dude I live in the US. My N95 DOES NOT say T-Mobile anywhere on it! And it came from Nokia directly. So please, before putting my name in your vocabulary, please get your facts straight. And take a class (they offer them online now) on photoshopping!!
TmOcRaZy @ Apr 7th 2007 3:15PM
And all of a sudden, Ivan is no where to be found or heard.......
the_rage @ Apr 7th 2007 4:22PM
Thr N95 is selling in the UK for £600 without a contract (which is around US$1,100)...and you thought the PS3 was expensive. On an 18month contract on t-mobile with 1000 free minutes, you pay £100 upfront and £35 per month!!!!

This device supports WCDMA on 2100MHz only, so it falls back to EDGE in the US. Ditto for the N80ie. I think it's deplorable that Nokia is is so bold in marketing these non-US devices to US customers. They should hold off on US marketing until their WCDMA radios go dual- or tri-band with US frequencies.

OK, this article has me intrigued:
http://www.mobilecomms-technology.com/projects/tmobileusa/
Its about T-mobile's 3G roll out but look over to the right of the page. The captions and pictures are reversed but it clearly states, "The Nokia N95, a new generation of 3G multiband handset which will be sold by T-Mobile USA (is a double slide handset with mp3 player)."
So does this confirm a T-Mobile USA band version?
