Missing Sync goes gold for BlackBerry
Hear ye, hear ye, Mac faithful: your definitive BlackBerry solution has arrived. Mark/Space has just completed its beta cycle for Missing Sync's BlackBerry variant and it's available to buy. Besides the obvious sync capabilities, the product adds a couple nifty features like iTunes synchronization and charging via USB (nice). Get it for $40 now -- or, if you're migrating from another Missing Sync version and tossing that Windows Mobile device, just $20.[Via TUAW]

You don't need Missing Syn to charge via USB on a Mac. I have never charged any other method.

I don't think it has the feature I most want... bluetooth sync.

I don't think that's a software issue - the BB does not have data over Bluetooth -- it's exclusively for voice due to security issues. The Berry is, after all, designed as an enterprise device.
On another note: Can someone explain why I want to replace PocketMac with this?

The latest BlackBerry desktop client supports BT sync on Windows just fine. I would recommend MissingSync because it does everything PocketMac does but better - also features media sync and management capabilities that are useful with the 8100 or 8800. PocketMac still only supports basic PIM sync. Personally I think RIM should dump PM like a bad habit and pick up MS instead - if they aren't going to bother writing their own Mac support they should at least be licensing the best product.
