I would have to guess that this has some component that ties into iLo for Console Access. Terminal services won't help you if the server is at POST or network is down.
This sounds like it would be really nice if they're going where I think they're going w/ this. Imagine being able to console into a server w/o hooking up a KB/mouse and monitor. Or being able to diagnose the Server Heath w/o logging in. Or being able to quicky inventory a server (w/ RFID)
