Why can't some uber-rich Telcom company front the seemingly small bill to text everyone in the area?  Doesn't seem like that much work to set up such a humane endeavor.  And besides, I don't think that tsunamis happen THAT often.  All but the most paranoid will pass on this. And I totally agree with #1. Most of the tsunami hit areas where people are improvished. Not many people in that region can afford $40 a year. It would cost pennies to a wireless company to set up a sms-alert system that could save HUMAN lives.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Blue Sky]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Mar 19th 2007 10:58PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
