HTC S710 (Vox) reviewed and loved
Seems the HTC design depot is kickin' out new handsets fast and furious of late and if you believe everything you read, the Vox's replacement -- the HTC Wings -- is coming before the proverbial ink has had a chance to dry on this page. The Vox is a treat -- and a tasty one at that -- with goodies like a quad-band GSM radio, EDGE, Bluetooth and WiFi data connectivity, 2 megapixel camera, 201MHz OMAP CPU, and according to what we hear, a killer display. Love your TyTn's keyboard but hate the size? No worries, the Vox is packing a QWERTY keyboard too. But sadly, while sweet in oh so many ways, there is no HSDPA or any other 3G goodness for that matter. While not a deal breaker, the extra-fast connectivity would have rounded out this otherwise exceptional little handset. [Via Smartphone Thoughts]

You forgot to add that its a smartphone instead of a PDAPhone so no touchscreen which is a dealbreaker for me. I'll stick with my Hermes a while longer.
Other than that amazing formfactor!

I agree, if this had a touchscreen and 3G I would definitely get it. I'll stick with the 8525 for now.

I love this phone BECAUSE it has no touch screen. Pulling out the stylus on my 8125 is always such a pain in the ass. Same function as the 8125 except smaller and no touch screen. I want it.

This has the Smartphone OS, so it is not the same as a 8525 or 8125. There is a difference, and a good many more apps for the Pocket PC OS than teh Smartphone OS.

I have the hardest time dialing via the touchscreen on my HTC PDA phone "Pocket PC", esp. while driving. Even calling up a contact to auto-dial is hard one-handed. Since I'm on the road constantly, this is a big problem. I LOVE that this phone has a seemingly regular phone keyboard with buttons you can feel AND a decent keyboard for doing email and calendaring. My company currently doesn't allow this phone, but I'm lobbying hard for it. I had the Treo 650 and hated phone dialing on it, too.
