Teacher learns a lesson: don't SMS for pot
Note to self: don't ever send an email or text message that you would not want to defend in court. Apparently, that imaginary legal and mental procedure was lost on an Oklahoma resident last year and now a Kentucky middle school teacher has similarly mis-texted. Ann Greenfield, 34, wanted to get her paws on some Mary Jane but sent a text message not to her dealer -- but to a Kentucky state trooper by accident. A mass o' cops was waiting for her when when arrived to meet up with her "dealer." We suspect this middle school teacher will probably set up a phone contact in her cellphone next time to avoid a rather embarrassing mistake -- or maybe she'll ditch the habit entirely.[Via Gearlog]

Interesting read, but that is quite possibly the worst photoshop ever.

Well, I hope she is no longer teaching. Drug users should not be anywhere near children. They hurt many more kids then sex offenders and should be dealt with in a similarly hysterical knee-jerk, overly harsh fashion.
Can't discriminate after all. If a person who looks at dirty pictures can't teach children, then neither should a drug user.
To bad she won't have her name, mug shot, and address on a web site for all to shun.
The only problem with drug offender registries is the tendency to act as an online drug dealer yellow pages and not as a list for insane vigilantes to torch their houses...

just because she may get high doesn't mean she 1 cant teach or 2 uses it before class. there are some brilliant minds that smoked pot. who cares what she does on her free time, as long as it doesn't impact her teaching; and how is she hurting the children??

KC: Hmm, you took your sarcasm too far, some people might not even realize you're joking :)

How exactly does one mistakenly text a state trooper?!

i can understand how people send a message to for example, the wrong mike, cos who hasn't got about 8 mikes, or sams, or sarahs in their contacts, but, yeah thats a goodie.
Juxtaposition of digits perhaps?
