people laughed at me when I told them I was paying $425 for my N73 cell phone... until they actually saw what a real phone can do. So I totally agree with him. Americans are just severely uneducated when it comes to good phones. Besides, the people who get offended by that are not gonna be the ones plunking down $500 for a phone.
