I am going to take a wild guess that the designer of this piece was thinking "Ode to my labia" when they created this.

Despite the obviously phallic nature of the slide style form factor this phone seems to have been dreamed into existence while viewing a performance of Eve Ensler's epic The Vagina Monologues
