The ear hook is the worst design ever. Its extremely annoying and cumbersome to try to put this thing on when you want to use it. I found myself struggling to get it on my ear securely. Its like they over-engineered it. Further more, all the snazzy jazzy technology it claims to have isnt really all that effective, yes it works, but as well as they advertise. The phone I used this ear piece with was a Sprint PPC 6700. Before using the jawbone I was very happy with the Sony Ericsson HBH-610. The only reason I was looking to upgrade was I wanted the same sound quality I got out of the HBH-610 and a USB charging port. The jawbone charges via USB but has a proprietary connection port on the jawbone itself that is NOT mini-USB so this means that you HAVE to carry another cable around with you if you need to charge your jawbone on the go.
Basically, the Jawbone was over-hyped and over priced. Yeah! The hook isn't too comfortable and my second one fits differently than my first one (both right-side earhooks snapped whilst the apparatus was in my pocket) but the quality of sound for the person at the other end of the call - usually clients - is better than any of the 5 BT headsets I had used previously. But using the different sized ear pieces I think I have it sorted now.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that people can hear me now, but it's not perfect. While researching this thing, I saw someone mention buying jabra eargels for a perfect fit in the ear. The don't work! Between the crazy earhook, and the large ear gel, there's no room for an actual ear.

Anyone interested:
Sound quality on other end - 10/10

Sound quality on my end - 6/10 (not a good fit in the ear, so sometimes it's hard to hear.

Design - 2/10 - imagine a zippo lighter stuck on the side of your face

Connection - 10/10 - I have a BB 8100 (pearl), and it never drops the connection

Worth buying?
