Hands-on with the Nokia N75 for Cingular

Introduction of the N76 has tempered our desire for the Nokia N75 a bit, but that doesn't mean it won't still be the fastest darned clamshell smartphone in Cingular's lineup when it finally gets around to launching. Granted, the one getting passed around at CES is unbranded, but let's be honest: Cingular's the only US carrier rockin' UMTS 850 / 1900 at the moment, and some friends of ours in high-up places have seen the Cingular-branded piece anyway.

When finally it will be selling?
I'm tired of guessing/reading posts of people promising Dec 25th, then 1st week of Jan, now Feb 14th. Is it gonna go out at all, or be killed like Nokia 6282?

im so pissed that it is taking this long for this phone to come out. i was going to hold out and wait to get this phone but instead i got the samsung sync and im regretting it almost every day. i wish i had just held out for this awesome phone

THIS is the handset I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for. (Of course, Apple has to come along and change all of that, but...) What in the wide world of sports is taking so long for Cingular to bring this phone out?? Any idea on contract price?

I've been eagerly awaiting this phone since it was announced. Though impressive, I 'll wait for the gen 2 iPhone. I really wish cingular/nokia would get off its ass and release this thing.

This is been in the pipe for a while now, and hopefully we will see a February release. Supposedly some testers on Howard Forums (big supposed) say that there is problems with Nokia's firmware. Guess we will wait and say...Nokia get your stuff straight I need another good S60 phone!

Apparently (off the same Howard Forums site) the problem is with the Cingular branded Firmware locking up in testing. The unbranded Nokia original doesn't experience the same issues. I believe this a bit more because the 6282 has serious issues when released that weren't on the 6280.

The n75 has shown up on nokiausa.com, but it's saying out of stock...
