Cingular officially launches BlackBerry Pearl
Every day closer we get to Christmas is a day less Cingular has to push buyers to snag the sexy (yet still somehow boring and disappointing) BlackBerry Pearl. Expect to pay $400 for the phone out of contract -- way, way too much -- and as little as $200 with a two year and rebate. Frankly, for those with two Bens looking for a QWERTY device that plays media, we think you can do a lot better.

Im sorry but this phone has lost its MOJO. Cingular just needs to release it.

Agreed. I am glad Cingular is finally selling this phone so I don't need to read about it any more. There are plenty of choices out there this Christmas so I hope people will find the smartphone of their choices.

I have had the pearl since Saturday and love it. I had a BB three phones ago and loved the ease of email but hated the phone. I had an 8125 before this and hated how slow it was to just make a call or get mail or anything really. They make phones that will do more that the Pearl, but if you want a great phone and easy email with a few bells and whistles this is the phone. It's my favorte phone ever right now.
