Samsung SPH-M500 now available from Sprint

A few days ago my A920 was tossed into my aunt's pool through my niece. I called the sprint hotline and they told me that my phone was unavailable. They told me i could only receive the M500. I want to know if the M500 is as good as the A920. What do you think?
