Pantech prepping PN-310 for Verizon
It looks like Pantech is doing its best to bring it strong in the US with a balanced attack of GSM and CDMA handsets; besides dropping a couple of the former on Cingular, Verizon's been known to drink the Pantech Kool-Aid, too -- though typically in Nokia trim. The FCC has unearthed a new Verizon-bound model for us, the PN-310; as you might recall, the Nokia 6215i began life as the Pantech PN-315, so it's entirely possible the 310 won't be the 310 by the time it hits store shelves. Without a camera or color external display, the meager clamshell looks destined for the bottom rung in Verizon's lineup. Personally, we don't think "cheap" should mean "external antenna is okay," but we guess Pantech didn't get the memo.

As soon as my contract is up - 2 months - im dropping verizon like a bad habit. In the year 2006 not even the low-end phone should resemble this thing.

#1...what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. -Principal

eric, as if thats the only low end phone Verizon will carry. If the reason you are going to drop a carrier is becuase of ONE ugly low-end phone then you are an idiot.
