I'm still happy with the device, but every week or so, the device won't allow me to type in my full password to unlock the device. It lets me type 2 characters in and then gives error beeps on each subsequent key entry. My only way around it was to take the battery out and reboot. It then allows normal entry of the password to unlock the device. Weird.

Related to the security password, it's seems antithetical to have the password displayed in clear text on the screen. I wish it would hide it with asterisks when I'm typing it in. but maybe that's just me...

Mark K

Comments on

Does anyone know of a free solution to SIM unlock the dash? When I bought the Dash I gave my mom(cingular) my phone and called and she said no problem. If you buy the phone it is legally yours and NO cell phone company can tell you that you can not have it.
