Phone looks hot!! Even got 2.0 megapix...interesting. The outside screen still looks small. Just one question, "When the hell is this phone coming out already???" Boy Verizon is the worst!!

Our Verizon rep said we'll see this in mid-November at the absolute latest. I told him I'm going to kick him in the balls if he's wrong and he agreed. Needless to say I think we'll see it in mid-November for sure. probably at $199 for 2 years.

Does anyone know if this will have aim preloaded so you dont have to add ur buddies. like the sidekick has?

Well, I can tell you LG has marketing exclusivity rights with Verizon from November 26th through mid-January. This should be a pretty good indication that it will be on shelves around Turkey day. Also, the LG8600 is pretty tight as well. Its hella thin with Bluetooth stereo...I played with both recently at a training.

Can anyone verify this "suppose date" that this phone is coming out. To bad CNET doesnt have anything on it.

Simply put? There was an FCC filing for this device...lists it as 12/20 but I really can't confirm those details, as Verizon does work directly w/ the manufacturers to develop their phones quicker.
Your best bet is to just check the web site...summer phones are done, so keep in mind for fall and winter, especially during the holiday season.
But? THIS PHONE IS SWEET!!! =)

I was in South Korea last week and I had the chance to navigate this phone. Dang,it really Rocks!!! LG reps told me this phone will be available in the US soon. This phone model will be released exclusively for VERIZON just like the Chocolate. So GSM boy, unless you switch to America's most reliable network, you'll never have this phone.
I am a phonenatic of LG phones. They are durable and user friendly. I am also a loyal Verizon customer. Having a great phone doesnt make any sense if your wireless service provider is not reliable. Verizon is the best network in the US. Fact: Verizon was the only wireless provider who had service up and running during Katrina and recent earthquake in Hilo Island, HI.

Yes it does, It's called Mobile IM- it includes Yahoo, Msn and AOL Messenger. This phone also has V-Cast Music/V-Cast Video, Mobile Web 2.0, I'm sure it will have Wireless Sync capabilities, like the LG-VX9800 (aka. The V), as well as VZ-Navigator. Probalbly be able to use it as a modem w/ Broadband Access Connect. Uhm Uhm, There's alot. Undetermined, but working for VZW can guarantee it will have those, since they're standard on all VCAST capable music phones. Maybe this will pick up MP3 and WMA capabilities like the Chocolate. Hmm, we will see! Expect this puppy out no later than December. It will probably be out before Thanksgiving, no promises, and no date exactly!

I'm gonna need to see a picture of the phone closed, and while we're at it i would also like to see it at all different angle's! my name is kelvin and i work for verizon in the beatutiful city of NYC! I love it here, and i wanna thank you for always providing equiptment pictures and info, before I (as an employee) hear it from Verizon! thank-you thank-you thank-you! in closing, the phone looks pretty cool, a bit wider then the 9800 but slimmer, so i guess it evens out. cant wait to get one in the store so i can play with it and really compare it to the 9800. Kelvin rules!
