Sony Ericsson's next Cyber-shot candybar?

Is there really room in Sony Ericsson's lineup for another candybar wedged in between the diminutive K610 and the K790 / K800 3.2-megapixel monsters? These pictures (if real) seem to suggest that our favorite Euro-Asian manufacturer thinks there is. The rumored, unnamed device is emblazoned with the "Cyber-shot" brand, suggesting that the handset will be photo-centric -- perhaps a bit of a stretch for a phone whose camera resolution tops out at 2 megapixels, regardless of the presence of autofocus. Other specs allegedly include a QVGA display and Memory Stick Micro slot; if we had to guess, we'd say that UMTS 2100 is in the cards, too. We'll keep an eye on this one and confirm or debunk it just as soon as we're able.

I just threw down for the w300i maybe when this lands I 'll pick it up I never used an SE before and I really like them they're very advanced.

Oh how i would love a digital camera and cell phone combo, only one thing to carry, and knowing sony's amazing cyber-shot line, you can trust it's an amazing camera, just look at the k800/790's pictures, if only the k800/790 or this could come to verizon

I love K610i fone it's the best fone I ever had. My friends are envy of it because the of the color which is red and its sleek design..lol

All well and good to say it's been given a cyber-shot camera, but has anyone had a look at that keypad? It looks like a calculator from the 80s - no way would you want to be doing any text-messaging on those narrow metal keys.

Even the SE models with full-sized buttons still have a certain clickyness about them which is less than ideal so I don't have high hopes for this particular one.

This looks like it could be a replacement fascia for a se w810i. The button placements look about right for it.

But I hope its not...

This one only has a 2mpx camera not the 3.2 from the k790/800 or a better one. So not yet an improved cybershot phone :'(

I pray for the day when SE will give up on these lame cameraphones and finally design a nice flip-phone under 1" thick. I love the SE interface but can't stand their focus (no pun intended) on integrating these cameras! I'll stick with my nice, slim RAZR and it's lame UI.
