Does the BB Connect client come pre-loaded or do you need to download it from Vodafone?
jetfxr @ Oct 13th 2006 10:26AM
Must resist urge, must wait....

"No HSDPA, but UMTS is tight". Does that mean that you do not have HSDPA where you're located or it doesn't work?
thefoss @ Oct 13th 2006 12:05PM
Will it work with a T-Mobilw SIM?
Wilson @ Oct 13th 2006 3:00PM
If it works on Cingy's network it will work on TMobile! I've got a 650 from Cing and have T now...........but this is pretty awesome news! I just wonder if the Cingular version will have HSDPA?
riznphoenix @ Oct 13th 2006 5:47PM
So if I get this and go through tmobile do I just take it in to them?
gMiller @ Oct 13th 2006 10:38PM
Just unlocked mine using

Anyone know of a free solution >
riznphoenix @ Oct 14th 2006 11:25AM
hey so once I unlock it, lets say I want to use it on T-Mobile, do I just take it in to them and tell them I was to use this phone?
pnt7 @ Oct 14th 2006 9:35PM
The Cingular version will be firmware upgradeable to HSDPA when launched. The firmware update will probably be rolled out late Q1/Q2 from what I heard.
wilson @ Oct 14th 2006 11:06PM
You don't even have to do that, just put your SIM card in and it'll work on the network
Brian McGuire @ Oct 15th 2006 10:28PM
I assume if I have a Vodapone unlocked 750v and wanted to update to the latest Cingular HSDPA firmware update, i can?
Ash @ Oct 16th 2006 9:11AM
Does anyone know where else to get it besides ebay?
doc @ Oct 24th 2006 7:52AM
I unlocked my phone here
http://www.cellcorner.com/xshp/unlock-phone-codes/remote-unlock-by-cable-for-palmone-treo750.html
This site also mentions treo 750c and treo 750t. I thought these phones are not available from tmobile and cingular yet.
Anybody?
Steven Stoll @ Oct 24th 2006 8:17PM
Dumb question for you....How do you unlock the pearl to use on Cingular? I want to get one however want it to work as though it was a cingular product.?
Java Man @ Oct 25th 2006 8:50PM
Well, I did it!! Got on eBay a week ago, found someone who who was selling an unopened Vodafone Treo 750v...and I put in my bid. Ended up winning it and had it shipped to me here in the States. Got it this morning, followed your link to get the thing unlocked and...joy of joys...the thing works!!! I can't believe it!! It's gorgeous...and fast!! Faster than my old Treo 650 was in terms of pulling down web sites, email, documents - EVERYTHING! Put in my Cingular sim and it connected without an errors. I'm in love!! Am wondering just WHEN Cingular/Palm is going to market this baby here. Oh well...got tired of waiting...my Treo750v works here in the US - NOW :)

Ok, but will the Cingular version come with disabled Bluetooth? There is a $30/month difference between unlimited 'MEdia for the phone,' and unlimited 'MEdia for use on a PC' (not that the network can tell the difference)
Cingular, I swear if you do this, that I will not renew my contract with you!
