I ask the same question? For the US market this is about as HIGH END as you can get. 1.3MP camera, Quad-Band, Memory Slot w/ MP3 player, Bluetooth, FM radio, High Res 262k color screen (internal and external). Entry Level???????? Try the Samsung T-209 (features: Speakerphone................WOW!!!!!!! )

From what I can figure out, the 6133 is not the US version of the 6133; the 6126 is. Basically, the 6126 is the same thing as the 6131, minus the FM radio. The 6133, however, looks lightly differently and is tri-band, not quad-band like the other two. There might be other differences, too.

This phone is pretty impressive. Feels strangely cheap to me though. The QVGA screen is unreal for a Nokia, and the refreshed S40 menus are almost Symbiam-esque. The only downside I found on this phone is that the mp3s you store CANNOT be used as ringtones.. just like Samsungs. :-x I doubt this was Nokia's call, since every carrier loves to sell ringtones!

I use a 6131 and I can use mp3 as my ringtone so I don't know what the T-Mobile Guy is talking about. Unless 6133 isn't the 6131 American Version.
Nothing against you TMO Guy btw, just letting people know that I can use mp3 as a ringtone on my 6131. Also, my screen is 16 Million Color Screen QVGA. Just for comparison.

just got off the phone with tmobile and they confirmed that yes mp3s CANNOT be used as ringtones on the phone which is just weird...i wonder what format it uses and if we can create that ringtone filetype and spoof it into using homemade ringtones...also Vlad according to the tmo website the 6133 IS quadband

Downloaded free Audacity player and saved my MP3 as WAV files. Works fine in the 6133.

you can use i pod music converter to convert mp3 songs to wma format and they will work as ringtones on t mobile nokia 6133 after you convert them use nokia pc suite to transfer to phone using usb cable it works perfectly I have about 10 on my phone now and they all can be used as ringtones

I get Nokia-6133 from t-mobile, but i can't use mp3 ring tones.

It's not easy to figure out how to put your individually self made ringtone on the 6133. But I finally got it! It seems to work best when it is a WMA file. You can drag it straight from your computer to the ringtone section of the pc suite with the usb cord plugged in. Just go to file manager then Phone memory to Gallery then Tones and then Ringing Tones. There you can drag your WMA file (song) to. It takes a few seconds to see the download meter pop up. It's weird that they don't have it made to accept MP3 instead of WMA. You can use Audacity Player to make specific clips of your songs if you want the ring tone to start at a certain part of a song or make your own music recorded on audacity to convert on audacity to a WAV which you should then convert to WMA by right clicking on your file (song) and click convert audio format then pick Windows Media Format (WMA) make sure you pick quality that is the smallest size. GEEEEEEEEEEEZE! PHEWWWWW!
