i sure would like to know, i would also love to know whycingular is such a pain in the *** when you want to buy a new phone.

This popped up for a short period of time on Cingular's website a few weeks ago too -- about the same time the star trek went on sale. I remembered seeing it breifly but not thinking much of it, and then I checked back the same day and it was gone. Looks pretty cool though for a goPhone.

I couldn't find a review for the C120 anywhere, so I'll give you the DL. My Razr died, so I got the C120 as a Cingular GO phone and replaced the sim with my regular sim. This phone is very light, small, solid and slick (it almost feels too small at times). I've had it for 3 days now and it's great. Signal strenght is better than Razr and calls are clear. Call volume is adequate, but I would have liked the max vol to be higher and speaker phone is only loud if you turn the phone over. Screen is bright but small and Pantech really makes menu icons and digits/letters LARGE...um great for the semi-blind. Animations are smooth as hell but the C120 has a crappy game and ringtone bundle. Camera was suprisingly good, no bluetooth or mp3 player, but who cares when you just want a phone to be a phone. I am tempted to keep this phone, but I'll have to use it for a few more days to gain perspective since I am used to my Razr that was LARGE compared to this phone, when open. I find that I don't even know when I have it in my pocket (seriously). Even though I haven't needed it yet, I would like someone to let me know if there is a key-lock function. For $90 it was definitely worth it.

Martin, the Cingular 8525 is scheduled to release on October 24th. I will have one as soon as the UPS guy drops them off at my store.

^Even though I haven't needed it yet, I would like someone to let me know if there is a key-lock function.
Operation and key reference is vague at times and
I see no Unlock soft key unless thats what the Menu
soft key becomes after key-lock. No password or
unlock number as with some phones.
LOCK: Page 23 on manual, press Menu soft key then
asterisk for 3 seconds.
(Top left key,Bottom left key... shown in hard to
see key graphic)
UNLOCK: This is unclear to me, so I would not lock:
press Unlock soft key( can't really say what
that is) then asterisk within 5 seconds.
