LRG limited edition Sidekick 3 surfaces
T-Mobile promised there'd be at least a couple different limited edition versions of the Sidekick 3 when they announced the phone this past summer, and it looks like one is due out soon. Reader Andy scanned this pic from the November issue of XXL magazine that shows a green version of the SK3 from Lifted Research Group. No word on pricing (or a release date), but T-Mob charged a premium for those limited edition Sidekick II's, so expect this one to cost at least fifty bucks more than the regular version.

i personally do NOT like sidekicks. but this UGLY ATROCIOUS design really makes one dislike it even more. what were they thinking?! and pardon my ignorance, but who the heck is LRG (other than the obvious explanation of the abbreviation)??

Looks like somebody went to El torito and acccidentally dropped this sidekick into a big vat of guacamole.
Or they smeared wasabi all over it.
Or dropped it in a bowl of asparagus soup?

Seems like there aren't many that actually like the color. I wish they had gone with a black limited edition. It would sell a lot better than this one I think
