Although there have been inklings in the past that Sprint was working on a USB EV-DO modem with Novatel Wireless, recent FCC approval documents have confirmed its existence and given us a first glimpse at what the modem actually looks like. In comparison to
its peers, the U720 is visually appealing, although the single shot of the device doesn't provide a very good idea of its size thanks to the USB port being out of sight. Not that the style of the modem matters: we know people (read: MacBook owners) that would kill to see a USB EV-DO modem come to the States -- it's probably a good thing that the FCC approved the device then, eh?

Is there software that can be used together with the sprint novatel u720 for its GPS feature. I need auto GPS that will work on a laptop with the u720.

I purchased the Sprint Novatel Wireless Ovation U727. It works fabulous - installs easily, etc., - on XP. But I need it on Mac OS using Leopard - which they assured me worked. It doesn't! I'm unable to get the Sprint Mobile Broadband Manager to load to Mac OS Leopard. Only Sprint Drivers Utility Install appears on desktop and nothing else loads to desktop. Therefore, I have no icon on desktop for the device.
Can anyone offer any help? I've spent 3 hours at Sprint Tech Support and talked to 6 "tech support" folks with no solution.
Many thanks for any kind souls out there you have suggestions!
