No surprises from Motorola today, though we were able to spend some quality time with their upcoming
RIZR and
KRZR models. We were surprised at how light and solid the RIZR felt, especially considering we're looking at a pre-production unit here. The matte, rust red finish was a nice touch, but check out the intricate design on the phone's hindquarters after the break -- it's a unique detail and we hope this makes it to the production handset.
Also on display were the E680 and
A1200 "MING" handsets. Why do they tease us so?

Yeah, I do love the colors, but they seem too big for me. I prefer lighter smaller phones.

Do we have an official launch date for the RIZR or KRZR yet?

DAMMIT! And I just bought a Samsung D807. I almost got the RAZR, but I wanted a slider phone.

You can find unlocked KRZRs on Ebay right now. Though, for official launch dates, I don't know. The Cingular guy just shrugged when I asked.
Though I did hear that the KRZR was making its way to Sprint.

Any word if they are going to make it to Verizon anytime soon?
